How it works

From install to improvement

SiteScore is designed to fit into your workflow. Here's exactly what happens when you analyze a page.

  1. Step 1

    Install the extension

Add SiteScore from the Chrome Web Store. It runs in your browser and is ready to use immediately.

  2. Step 2

    Open a supported website

Navigate to any page you want to analyze in your browser tab. SiteScore inspects the page you have open.

  3. Step 3

    Run an analysis

Launch SiteScore from the toolbar. It inspects the loaded document across all analysis categories.

  4. Step 4

    Review findings and evidence

Findings are grouped by category and severity. Open any finding to see the exact markup that produced it.

  5. Step 5

    Prioritize improvements

Sort by severity to focus on critical issues first. Each finding includes a suggested remediation.

  6. Step 6

    Recheck after changes

After fixing issues, re-run the analysis to confirm the fixes resolved the findings.

Behind the scenes

What makes SiteScore different

Evidence-first

Every finding links to the source markup, attribute, or text that triggered it, so you can verify and fix with confidence.

Heuristic checks

Most checks are heuristics against the loaded document — fast, transparent, and easy to verify.

No crawl, no wait

SiteScore analyzes the current page instantly. There is no queue, no crawl delay, and nothing to configure.
